Now you can rent “The Fish Camp” for your own vacation. Located on beautiful Lake Providence, this 4 bedroom house provides the comfort and amenities to enjoy your vacation in a relaxing place.
Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a peaceful place to get some rest, or an outdoorsy location for a family with children, The Fish Camp fits the bill!
Fishing:
Lake Providence is an excellent warm water fishery containing a variety of species including Largemouth Bass, White Perch, Buffalo, Bream (such as Bluegill and other sunfish), and multiple species of Catfish and Gar.
Other wildlife is also abundant, with turtles frequenting the area around the dock, birds swooping and fishing, and the occasional snake. While a few alligators have been known to live in the lake, we’ve never seen them and they do not pose any threat.
You can fish directly from our dock. Children can catch a variety of species using worms. Night fishing is also excellent, with catfish swarming the shallows at night. The avid bass fisherman can take out our kayak and explore the shorelines, or bring your own boat.
We have a selection of fishing poles and other fishing gear available at the house for your use. Additionally there is a bait and tackle shop (Ingleside) nearby.
Boating:
We provide a kayak, stand-up paddle board (SUP), windsurf rig, and plenty of life jackets for our guests to use (all included in the house rental price).
If you would like to bring your own boat, there is a public boat launch just 100 yards away so you can easily launch your boat and tie it up at our dock during your stay.

Meals:
Guests provide their own meals. There is a full kitchen provided. A grocery store is 1.5 miles away, and there are good restaurants nearby such as Jehova Java, The Dock, El Agave, and Sonic.
Policies:
NO Smoking.
NO Pets. (Sorry, we like animals but cannot allow them in the house. You may keep a dog outdoors 100% of the time, and must clean up!)
